Congress Kupwara President tours Lolab areas, hears public grievances

Kupwara, May 06: President of District Congress Committee Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir, on Wednesday conducted an extensive tour of several areas in Lolab and adjoining regions, during which he interacted with public delegations and reviewed various local issues.

The tour covered Shahabad, Warnow, Kawari, Kuligam, Nard, Cheepora, Batagal, Wawoora and Sogam, where residents apprised the DCC president of their civic and developmental concerns.

During the interactions, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir assured the delegations that their grievances would be taken up with the concerned authorities for prompt redressal.

He also visited different localities to attend condolence meetings and expressed solidarity with bereaved families.

The Congress leader reiterated his commitment to remain accessible to the public and to raise people’s concerns before the administration at all levels.

He was accompanied by several senior party colleagues, including Chairman Kissan Sabha Nazir Hussain Kalas, Khursheed Mala, Sheer Ahmad Khan and Ghulam Rasool Hajam, among others.
