
SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah participated in the TCS World 10K marathon in Bengaluru on Sunday, lauding the event for its world-class standards, strong enthusiasm, and large-scale participation.
After completing the race, Abdullah praised the marathon’s organisation and vibrant atmosphere, describing it as a premier sporting event.
He said he began the run at a strong pace but later felt the impact of Bengaluru’s humidity, which added to the physical challenge.
The TCS World 10K Bengaluru is regarded as one of India’s leading road races, attracting elite athletes, amateur runners, and fitness enthusiasts from across the country and beyond.
Abdullah has consistently taken part in marathon events, including races in Srinagar and Jammu, reflecting his continued commitment to fitness and public sporting engagement.
