Office of the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA), Ministry of Defence, Government of India has released the official notification for engagement of Young Professional posts on contract basis. A total of 12 vacancies have been announced under this recruitment.

CGDA has announced a total of 12 vacancies for Young Professional posts. The qualification-wise vacancy details are given below.

Eligibility Criteria of CGDA Young Professional Vacancies

Candidates must meet the required qualification, experience and age criteria before applying.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Bachelor of Law (LLB)
• M.Tech or PhD with focus on Data Analytics
• Chartered Accountant (CA) / CIA / CISA certification

Work Experience

• Minimum 02 years of work experience is required as on 08 March 2026.

Age Limit

Candidates should have:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Skills in project planning and monitoring
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary environments
• Adequate IT skills, especially in data analysis and visualization

Remuneration Details

Selected candidates will receive the following monthly remuneration:

TA/DA will be admissible equivalent to Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO) of the department. However, no TA/DA will be provided for attending interview.

Selection Process of CGDA Young Professional Recruitment 2026

The selection process consists of two stages with total 100 marks.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on document review and then called for interview.

Additional requirements:

• Police Verification will be conducted
• Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement must be signed
