Aijaz Ahmad Bhat (JKAS) assumes charge as DPO Poshan Projects’ Kupwara

Kupwara, May 06: Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, (JKAS), on Wednesday assumed charge as District Programme Officer for Poshan Projects’ in Kupwara.

He formally took over at the District Poshan Projects’ office, where he was received by departmental staff. Child Development Project Officer Abdul Qayoom Wani and other officials welcomed the officer and extended their greetings.

Officials said the appointment forms part of a routine administrative reshuffle in the district.

The Poshan Projects wing is responsible for implementing child development and nutrition schemes at the grassroots level. With the new posting, the department is expected to focus on improving service delivery, strengthening inter-departmental coordination, and ensuring effective execution of welfare programmes across Kupwara district.
