ACD Kupwara Suspends Junior Assistant Over Alleged MGNREGA Material Cap Disparity

Kupwara, May 26: The Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kupwara has placed a Junior Assistant of Block Natnussa under suspension in connection with alleged irregularities related to the preparation of material cap at the Panchayat level under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA).

According to an order, a copy of which lies with Alfaaz – The Words, issued by the Office of the Assistant Commissioner Development, Kupwara, the action was taken following a pending inquiry into an alleged disparity in the preparation of the material cap under the rural employment scheme.

The order states that Rajinder Pal Singh, Junior Assistant, Block Natnussa, has been placed under suspension with immediate effect pending inquiry into the matter.

The ACD office has further directed the Block Development Officer (BDO) Natnussa to conduct a detailed inquiry and furnish a report along with specific comments and recommendations within seven days.
