Massive Landslide Destroys Buildings along Jammu-Srinagar Highway

SRINAGAR: A massive landslide struck the Narsoo-Samroli area along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Udhampur district on Saturday night, causing the collapse of a hotel and several adjoining buildings, officials said.

As per reports, the incident has triggered panic in the area, with rescue teams, police, and local authorities immediately rushing to the spot to launch a massive rescue operation.

The District Administration Udhampur has confirmed that relief and rescue efforts are underway on a war footing, and more details are awaited. (KNC)
