Ehsaas Foundation Mourns Demise of Renowned Poet and Journalist Zahid Mukhtar – Alfaaz – The Words

Srinagar: The Ehsaas Foundation has expressed profound grief over the demise of Zahid Mukhtar, a celebrated poet, writer, senior journalist, and eminent broadcaster.

In a condolence statement, the Foundation described Zahid Mukhtar as a distinguished literary voice and respected media figure whose contributions to journalism, poetry, and broadcasting have left an indelible mark on Kashmir’s cultural landscape. His writings and broadcasts, it said, reflected depth, sensitivity, and an enduring engagement with the social and cultural essence of the Valley.

“His passing is an irreparable loss to the literary and journalistic fraternity,” the Foundation noted. “We pray to Almighty Allah to grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and to bestow patience and strength upon his family, colleagues, and admirers during this time of grief.”
