Kupwara Police Return 23 Recovered Mobile Phones to Rightful Owners – Alfaaz – The Words

Kupwara: In a special ceremony held at the District Police Office (DPO) Kupwara, police officials handed over 23 stolen cum lost mobile phones to their rightful owners.

The recovery, valued at nearly ₹5 lakh, was made possible through the sustained efforts of the District Technical Team, Kupwara, which traced and retrieved the devices using advanced technical tools, officials said.

Speaking on the occasion, officials reiterated that Kupwara Police remains committed to serving the public and safeguarding their property. They also urged residents to promptly report thefts or losses, assuring timely action and assistance in such cases.

The gesture was widely appreciated by the recipients, who expressed gratitude for the proactive approach and citizen-centric efforts of Kupwara Police.
