Security Forces Recover Arms, Ammo in North Kashmir

Srinagar: Security forces recovered a cache of arms and ammunition during a joint operation in Nowgam area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said on Monday. They said personnel from the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Indian Army launched a search operation in the area, leading to the recovery of a “large quantity” of weapons and ammunition. They added that the recovery has once again foiled attempts by militants to disrupt peace in the Kashmir Valley.
