JKRTC Sets Freight Rates for Valley Fruit to Delhi, Haryana, Jalandhar

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Road Transport Coorporation on Sunday (JKRTC) approved the freight rates per patti for fruit consignments to select stations.

In a communique, the approved rates exclude loading and unloading charges, which will be borne by the fruit grower or vendor. The rates are fixed as Rs 130 for Delhi,  Rs 120 for Haryana, and Rs 90 for Jalandhar.

The decision aims to streamline fruit transportation from the Valley and provide clarity to growers and vendors regarding logistics costs. (KNC)
