Big Savings On Tractors & Machines

Farmers are set to save big as GST rationalisation kicks in on tractors and farm machinery. Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced steep price cuts across a wide range of equipment. A 35 HP tractor will now be cheaper by ₹41,000, while a 75 HP model costs ₹63,000 less. Milling machines see a ₹15,400 cut, threshers drop by ₹14,000, and harvesters get massive relief — with a 14-foot cutter bar model slashed by as much as ₹1.87 lakh. From rotavators and seed drills to mulchers and tractor-mounted sprayers, the list of reductions runs long. These cuts promise direct savings for farmers, lower input costs, and a push for mechanisation across India’s agriculture sector.
