Police Attaches Property of Active Militant in South Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Anantnag Police on Tuesday attached the immovable property of an active militant in Bijbehara area of south Kashmir under relevant provisions of law.

In a statement, the property belonging to active militant Adil Hussain Thoker, located at Guree, Bijbehara (Khasra No. 165 MIN), was attached under Section 83 CrPC in connection with FIR No. 11/2023, registered under Sections 20, 38 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and 2/3 of the EIMCO Act.

Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to continue such measures against individuals involved in unlawful and anti-national activities, reads the statement. (KNC)
