Central University Of Jammu Walk-in For Clinical Psychologist (Male & Female) – 20 August 2025

Central University of Jammu has announced a walk-in interview for the engagement of Clinical Psychologist (Male & Female) on a contractual basis. The engagement will initially be for six months and may be extended depending on satisfactory performance and university requirements.

As per the official notice No. CUJ/Admin/EN-Temp-03/2025/533 dated 13 August 2025, there is one position available for Clinical Psychologist. The selected candidate will be paid a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 40,000. The interview will be held on 20 August 2025 at the Committee Room, Central University of Jammu, Rahya–Suchani (Bagla), District Samba – 181143, Jammu (J&K), with reporting time at 1:30 PM.

Interested and eligible candidates must bring all required documents, application form, and a demand draft of Rs. 500 (SC/ST candidates exempted) in favour of Finance Officer, Central University of Jammu, on the day of the interview. Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility conditions before attending.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have M.Phil (Clinical Psychology) or equivalent from a recognised university, OR Master’s Degree in Psychology with Experimental Psychology as one of the subjects with a Diploma in Medical (Clinical) Psychology from a recognised institution/university, OR Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from a recognised university. Additionally, candidates must be registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India.

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria must attend the walk-in interview at the venue mentioned above, carrying their filled application form, original certificates, self-attested photocopies, and applicable application fee in the form of a demand draft.

The application fee is Rs. 500 for General/OBC candidates, payable through Demand Draft in favour of Finance Officer, Central University of Jammu, at the time of the interview. SC/ST candidates are exempted from the fee.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of performance in the walk-in interview, subject to verification of original documents and fulfilment of eligibility conditions.
