School Education Dept Reshuffles 55 Lecturers Across UT

SRINAGAR: he Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday ordered the transfer and posting of 55 lecturers across various Higher Secondary Schools (HSS), Government Higher Secondary Schools (GHSS), and educational institutions in the Union Territory. The order, issued by the School Education Department took immediate effect.

The reshuffle also includes postings to specialised institutions such as SCERT Srinagar, DIET centres, and academic offices. Several transfers are made under pending orders, while some are against available vacancies.

The order directs that all transferred officials “shall be deemed to have been relieved with immediate effect.” Copies of the order have been sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Director of School Education Jammu/Kashmir, and other concerned officers for compliance.
