Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Jammu Walk-in For Hostel Superintendent Posts 0n Aug 19

PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Gharota Jammu-I, J&K has announced a walk-in interview for the engagement of Hostel Superintendent (Male and Female) purely on a contract basis for the academic session 2025-26. The engagement will be for one academic session only.

As stated in the official notification, applicants must be graduates in any discipline with desirable qualifications including a Master’s Degree or B.Ed. Proficiency in the regional language will be verified during the personal talk. The age limit for the post is between 35 and 62 years as on 01.05.2025. Prior work experience in residential schools or equivalent service is required.

Candidates who meet the criteria should report directly to the interview venue with original certificates and one set of self-attested copies of all relevant documents. Selection will be based on document verification and personal talk.

The walk-in interview will be conducted as per the schedule mentioned in the notification. Applicants are advised to ensure that they meet all eligibility conditions before appearing.

PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Gharota Jammu-I, J&K has invited applications for the post of Hostel Superintendent (Male and Female).

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications: Graduation in any discipline.
Desirable Qualifications: Master’s Degree or B.Ed. Proficiency in the regional language to be verified during personal talk.
Age Limit: Minimum 35 years and maximum 62 years as on 01.05.2025.
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in pay level 5 or above of 7th CPC or equivalent scale in a recognized residential school, or minimum 7 years’ experience on consolidated pay not less than Rs. 29,200 per month in a recognized residential school, or ex-defense personnel with a minimum 5 years’ experience in pay level 5 or above of 7th CPC. For candidates with JNV work experience, the required experience may be reduced to 3 years.
Marital Status: Male and Female candidates without encumbrances.
