Tehsil Admin Villgam Leads Colourful I-Day March to Dolipora Chowk – Alfaaz – The Words

Handwara: In a resplendent celebration of patriotism under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Tehsil Administration Villagam today organized a grand Tiranga Rally to mark the 79th Independence Day.

The rally, which commenced from Government Boys Higher Secondary School Villgam and concluded at Dolipora Chowk, witnessed an overwhelming participation of around 1,500 students from both government and private institutions across Villgam Zone.

The event was graced by the presence of prominent dignitaries, including Dr. Kaisar Bashir Magray (JKAS), Tehsildar Villgam; Manzoor Ahmad, Principal Government Higher Secondary School Villgam; Zamood Ahmad, Block Development Officer Villgam; Zonal Education Officer Villgam; Mudassir Shafi, Station House Officer Villgam; Block Medical Officer Villgam; Naib Tehsildar Villgam; Horticulture Development Officer Villgam; Block Veterinary Officer Villgam; and the Officer Incharge Fire & Emergency Service Villgam.

The rally painted the streets with the vibrant colors of the national flag, resonating with spirited slogans of unity, freedom, and progress. Students, brimming with enthusiasm, proudly carried the Tiranga and chanted patriotic slogans, creating an electrifying atmosphere of national pride.

Addressing the gathering, officials commended the spirited participation of students and lauded the efforts of the Education Department for organizing initiatives that foster patriotism, civic responsibility, and social harmony among the youth.

The celebrations concluded on a high note with cultural performances, patriotic speeches, and a collective pledge to work towards the nation’s progress while safeguarding its unity and integrity.
