J-K LG transfers 14 IAS, JKAS officers; Anshul Garg is new Div Com Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 5: Lieutenant Governor, Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders for 14 IAS and JKAS officers across key departments and districts.

As per Government Order No. 1037-JK(GAD) of 2025, Mr. Naveen S L (IAS, 2012), Secretary to the Government, Transport Department, has been appointed Secretary, Civil Aviation Department, and will also hold the additional charge of Commissioner, Civil Aviation. He replaces Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary.

Ms. Avny Lavasa (IAS, 2013) has been posted as Secretary to the Government, Transport Department, while Mr. Anshul Garg (IAS, 2013), CEO of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, has been appointed Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir.

Mr. Vikas Kundal (IAS, 2013), Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, has been posted as Chairman, J&K Services Selection Board, and Mr. Gurpal Singh (IAS, 2014) is now Managing Director, Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Ltd.

Other key reshuffles include:

• Mr. Sachin Kumar Vaishya (IAS, 2015) appointed CEO, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board

• Mr. Anil Banka (IAS, 2015) posted as Special Secretary, Finance Department

• Mr. Shrikant Balasaheb Suse (IAS, 2016) takes over as DC Kupwara

• Dr. Rakesh Minhas (IAS, 2016) becomes DC Jammu

• Ms. Ayushi Sudan (IAS, 2017) moves to DC Samba

• Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Qadri (JKAS) shifted from DC Bandipora, to await fresh posting

• Ms. Indu Kanwal (JKAS) posted as DC Bandipora

• Mr. Ashok Kumar Sharma (JKAS) becomes DC Poonch

• Mr. Rajesh Sharma (JKAS) shifted from DC Samba to DC Kathua

The reshuffle comes into effect immediately, as per the order issued by the General Administration Department.
