SKUAST-Jammu Notification For Business Manager And Office Assistant Posts Under RKVY-RAFTAAR Project

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu) has invited offline applications for the posts of Business Manager and Office Assistant under the RKVY-RAFTAAR project funded by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India.

As per Notification No. 02 (Revised) of 2025, these positions are to be filled on a contractual basis at the Agri-Business Incubation Centre, SKUAST-Jammu, a unit under the Division of Agricultural Economics and ABM. The appointments will be co-terminus with the project, which is sanctioned until 31 March 2026.

Interested and eligible candidates must submit their completed application form along with the required documents and demand draft before 5:00 PM on 04 August 2025. Candidates will be selected through screening and interview. The engagement will be purely temporary.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates interested in applying can check the eligibility criteria, age limit, application fee, and other essential details below.

For Business Manager, candidates must hold an M.Tech, MBA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Finance, Commerce, Marketing, Agri-Marketing, Agri-Economics, Economics, International Business, Technology Commercialization, or Entrepreneurship from a recognized institute with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories). Minimum three years of experience in relevant fields such as technology commercialization, investment banking, project appraisal, incubators, or startups is required. The upper age limit is up to 50 years.

For Technical/Office Assistant, candidates must have a graduate degree in any stream, preferably B.Com or BBA, with working knowledge of accounts and computers including MS Office. The age limit is between 21 and 40 years as per SKUAST-Jammu statutes.

Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 1000 for Office Assistant and Rs. 1500 for Business Manager posts through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Comptroller, SKUAST-Jammu, payable at Jammu.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based on initial screening followed by an interview. Shortlisted candidates will be informed and must appear for document verification and interview at the Directorate of Research, SKUAST-Jammu. Mere appearance in the interview does not guarantee selection.
