Jal Shakti Engineer Goes Missing in Jammu Kashmir

SRINAGAR: An Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Jal Shakti Department has gone missing under mysterious circumstances on Friday at Ramban area of Jammu division.

While the authorities have traced his abandoned car on the banks of Chenab River, the search for the missing engineer still continues. According to officials, the discovery has raised concerns of a possible suicide, as initial inputs indicate the officer may have been struggling with depression.

Moreover, rescue teams have been deployed to search the river and surrounding areas. Furthermore, a formal investigation is underway to uncover the circumstances leading to the incident. (JKNS)
