Jammu, Jun 27: Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat Friday reviewed the security and administrative preparedness for upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2025 (SANJY-2025) at Lakhanpur -gateway of J&K and other adjoining areas in Kathua district.
DGP was accompanied by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu zone Bhimsen Tuti; DIG JKS Range Shiv Kumar Sharma; DIG CRPF Avadhesh Pathak and other senior officers.
Top cop of J&K visited Reception Centre Lakhanpur for an on-ground review of the security and administrative arrangements in the run-up to SANJY 2025.
He interacted with all the nodal officers of the various security forces and civil departments.
To take stock of operational preparedness, DGP deliberated with DC Kathua Rakesh Minhas; SSP Kathua Shobhit Saksena; Atul Kumar Commandant IR-19; Manjit Kaur Principal PTS Kathua and other senior officers of the Army, CAPF and JKP. Nodal officers briefed them on various aspects of the security deployment and facilitation of the Yatris.
