RRB Technician Posts 2025 Announced – Apply Online For 6180 Vacancies Before 28 July

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a short notice through Employment Newspaper for 6180 Technician posts, including Technician Grade 1 Signal and Technician Grade 3 positions. The online registration process for RRB Technician 2025 will be conducted from 28 June to 28 July 2025. The detailed notification will be available on all regional RRB websites before the start of registration.

The selection process for these posts includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Document Verification, and a Medical Examination. Eligible candidates who meet the required educational and age criteria are encouraged to apply online within the specified dates.

A total of 6180 posts have been notified so far for RRB Technician recruitment. Technician Grade 1 Signal will carry a monthly salary of ₹29,200, while Technician Grade 3 will be paid ₹19,900 per month. The detailed zone-wise vacancy distribution is expected with the full notification.

Vacancy Details:
This recruitment drive aims to fill the following posts:

1) Technician Grade 1 Signal: 180
2) Technician Grade 3: 6000

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates interested in applying can check the eligibility criteria, age limit, application fee, and other essential details below.

For Technician Grade 1 Signal: Candidates must possess a B.Sc. in Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/IT/Instrumentation or a diploma/degree in Engineering in the related streams from a recognized university.

For Technician Grade 3: Candidates should have passed Matriculation/SSLC along with ITI from NCVT/SCVT-recognized institutions or completed relevant apprenticeship in the specified trades.

Age Limit (as on 1 July 2025):
Technician Grade 1 Signal: 18 to 33 years
Technician Grade 3: 18 to 30 years
Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for SC/ST, OBC, Ex-servicemen, PwD, and other eligible categories.

How to Apply:
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are required to submit their application through the official websites of their respective RRBs. The application portal will be active from 28 June 2025 to 28 July 2025.

Application Fee:
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD/Ex-servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes must pay ₹250. This amount will be refunded (after bank charges) upon appearing for the CBT.
All other categories must pay ₹500, out of which ₹400 will be refunded on appearing for the CBT.

Selection Process:
The selection process for RRB Technician 2025 includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination. The CBT will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions with a negative marking of ⅓ for each wrong answer.
