According to Naresh Kumar, a western disturbance currently over Pakistan is influencing weather conditions across Northwest India, keeping temperatures below normal. The India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for parts of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and adjoining regions due to the possibility of strong winds reaching 50-60 kmph. Light rainfall is also expected across several areas, including Delhi-NCR, where a yellow alert has been issued and wind speeds may touch 40-50 kmph. Dust storm activity is likely over Rajasthan during the next two days. Another western disturbance is expected to affect Northwest India from June 18, bringing the possibility of fresh rainfall over Delhi-NCR on June 20 and 21. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall activity is expected to continue over Northeast and adjoining East India for the next six to seven days.
