
SRINAGAR: The Chief Engineer, Distribution, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), has informed that scheduled shutdowns will be carried out on several transmission lines and grid stations across Kashmir for maintenance works, resulting in power disruptions in multiple areas on different dates in June 2026.
As per the schedule, shutdown of the 33 kV Kulgam–Devsar line will be observed on June 13 and 16, 2026 from 9 am to 3 pm, affecting Chambgund, Devsar, Ashmuji, Kilam, Akhal, Sopat and adjoining areas.
Similarly, the 33 kV Budgam–SIDCO line will remain shut on June 13, 2026 from 9 am to 3 pm, affecting Budgam, Sebdan, Jawalpora, Ompora town, SIDCO, Housing Colony, Railway Station Budgam, NIFT and adjoining areas.
The 33 kV Wanpoh–Sarnal line will be shut on June 15, 2026 from 6 am to 11 am, impacting District Headquarters Anantnag, Akhura, Nanil, Adlash, Nambal and adjoining areas.
Likewise, the 33 kV Awantipora–Tral-II line will remain under shutdown on June 13, 15, 17 and 20, 2026 from 9 am to 2 pm, affecting Batagund, Lurgam, Wagad, Satoora, Pastona, Nanar, Taki, Lam, Jawaharpora, Aripal, Khangund, Satura, Nargistan and adjoining areas.
The 33 kV Lassipora–SIDCO and Lassipora–Keegam lines will also be shut on June 14, 2026 from 9 am to 2 pm, affecting IGC Lassipora, Murran, Ruhmoo, Pakherpora, Mitrigam, Mirgund, Hawl, Keegam, Rajpora, Gulshanabad, Akhaal, Chararipora and adjoining areas.
In addition, shutdown of the 132/33 kV Grid Substation Arampora Kupwara will be carried out on June 13, 2026 from 10 pm to 11:30 pm and on June 14, 2026 from 4 pm to 5:30 pm, affecting Jaggerpora, Zangli MES, Tikker, Dragmulla, Nutnussa, Chogal, Army Camp, DC Residence, Pukhrupeth, Handwara Town, Adoora, Zachaldara, Changimulla, Khmuriyal, Lassipora Sogam, Divar, Lolab, Krusen, Z-Gali, Machil and adjoining areas.
Furthermore, shutdown of the 132/33 kV Grid Station Badampora will be observed on June 29, 2026 from 8 am to 3 pm, affecting Kurhama, Yangoora, Baroosa, Old Dab, Cheki Baba, Salun and adjoining areas.
Similarly, shutdown of Transformer-2 at 33 kV Lar–Tulmulla will be carried out on June 27, 2026 from 8 am to 1 pm, affecting Lar, Waliwar, Watlar, Repora, Tulmulla, Dangerpora, Theeru, Larsun and adjoining areas.
The 33 kV Safapora line will also remain affected on June 30, 2026 from 8 am to 1 pm, impacting Safapora, Gratabal, Chewa, Jarokabagh, Manasbal, Nowgam, Inderkoot, Wangipora, Nesbal, Naninara, Sumbal Bazaar and adjoining areas.
Likewise, the 33 kV Alusteng–Zakura line will remain shut on June 13, 2026 from 9 am to 3 pm, affecting Umeir Heir, Panchayat, Pandach, Khalmulla, Ahmad Nagar and adjoining areas.
KPDCL has advised consumers in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements in view of the scheduled maintenance shutdowns.
