Jammu student bags The Himalayan Avian’s first ‘Star medal’

Jammu, June 11: Mannat Sharma- a student hailing from Jammu- has been honoured with the first “Star medal” of “The Himalayan Avian.”

“The Himalayan Avian” is a trust for study and research on birds. It works for the conservation of wild birds and connects people with nature.

The “Star medal” is awarded to a student who is deeply connected with nature, excels in academics and holds a vision for a better society.

Mannat has also actively contributed to advancing activities of “The Himalayan Avian” in bird monitoring, wetland conservation and nature documentation.

With this honour, Mannat has become entitled to get lifetime membership of “The Himalayan Avian.”
