Hero MotoCorp CEO Unveils Made-In-India Flex-Fuel Bike

Hero MotoCorp has marked a historic milestone for the Indian auto industry by launching the country’s first-ever Flex-Fuel Motorcycle. Speaking at the launch in Delhi, CEO Harshavardhan Chitale emphasized that with India importing over 87% of its crude oil- costing ₹22 lakh crore annually and facing West Asian volatility, energy independence is critical. This new motorcycle, built with near-zero import content, runs on locally produced fuel, driving the nation toward an “Aatmanirrbhar Bharat.” Chitale proudly summed up the green mobility revolution with the powerful slogan: “Desh Ka Bharat, Desh Ka Indhan.”
