
SRINAGAR: Athlete Chandeep Singh from Jammu and Kashmir has won the gold medal at the 11th Asian Para Taekwondo Championship in Mongolia, bringing major sporting honours to the Union Territory and the country.
The achievement has been hailed as a significant milestone for para sports, with Chandeep’s triumph reflecting exceptional determination and excellence on the international stage.
Congratulating the athlete, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha praised the victory in a post on X, describing it as a proud moment for both the Union Territory and the nation.
