Woman Allegedly Attempts to Jump into River Jhelum in Srinagar | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A woman was rescued from the River Jhelum in Srinagar on Friday after she allegedly attempted to jump into the river with suicidal intent linked to family-related issues.

Officials said the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Quick Response Team (QRT), which was already engaged in a search operation in the River Jhelum, responded swiftly upon noticing the incident and managed to prevent a fatal outcome.

The woman was immediately provided assistance following the rescue operation.
