SRINAGAR: Police in Srinagar on Tuesday attached a residential house along with adjoining land measuring seven marlas, valued at around Rs 1.50 crore, belonging to an alleged drug peddler in the Parimpora area of the city.

The accused was identified as Owais Amin Denthoo, son of Mohd Amin Denthoo, a resident of Parimpora.

Officials said the property was attached under the provisions of the NDPS Act in connection with FIR No. 32/2026 registered at Police Station Parimpora under Sections 8/22 and 29 of the Act.

According to police, investigation revealed that the property was allegedly acquired through proceeds generated from illegal drug trafficking activities.

Police said the action was part of ongoing efforts by Srinagar Police to target narcotics networks and address drug abuse in society.

Srinagar Police also appealed to the public to share information related to drug peddling and narcotics trafficking in their areas.
