
SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday led a massive “Nasha Mukt” anti-drug rally in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, with thousands of people participating in the awareness campaign against substance abuse.
The rally witnessed participation from government officials, students, civil society members and people from different sections of society, who joined the programme to reaffirm their commitment towards a drug-free Jammu and Kashmir.
Participants carried placards and raised slogans highlighting the harmful effects of drug abuse and the need for collective efforts to eliminate the menace from society.
Addressing the gathering, the Lieutenant Governor emphasised the importance of public participation, awareness drives and coordinated action to tackle substance abuse among youth. He urged all sections of society to work together to protect younger generations from the growing threat of narcotics.
