Elderly Man Dies After Accidental Fall in Poonch Forest | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: An elderly man died after accidentally falling in a forest area of Sawjian in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday evening, officials said.

They said the deceased has been identified as Sultan Mohammad, around 65, son of Wazir Mohammad, a resident of Chapprin Sawjian.

According to officials, he had gone to the forest to collect firewood when he slipped and fell, resulting in his death on the spot.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further details are awaited. (JKNS)
