South Kashmir: Youth Found Unconscious at Home, Declared Dead at Hospital | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A youth was found unconscious under unexplained circumstances at his residence in the Malwan area of Kulgam district in south Kashmir and was later declared dead at a hospital, officials said on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Abrar Yaseen Malik, a resident of Malwan Bonpora. He was found unconscious at his home and was immediately shifted to District Hospital Kulgam, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The incident is the second such case reported in the district within the past 12 hours. Earlier, another youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence in the Laroo area of Kulgam.

Tehsildar Pahloo, Showkat Ahmed, said that the autopsy of the deceased is being conducted at District Hospital Kulgam in his presence.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the cause of death. (KNT)
