Ramban, May 05: In a significant action against drug trafficking, Ramban Police arrested a notorious female drug peddler from Ward No. 1, Ramban and recovered 97.95 grams of charas along with ₹74,550 in cash from her possession.
The accused has been identified as Shabnam Begum, wife of Mohd Younas.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of law and further investigation is underway. The arrest highlights the continued efforts of Ramban Police in curbing the menace of drugs and safeguarding the community.
