SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir is expected to witness partly unsettled weather conditions over the next several days, with chances of isolated thundershowers and a more organised wet spell forecast in early May, according to Kashmir Weather Forcast.
On April 28, thundershower activity is likely at a few places, particularly across the Kashmir region, during the afternoon and evening hours.
Between April 29 and 30, weather conditions are expected to remain largely stable across the Union Territory, though isolated spells of rain or thundershowers cannot be ruled out.
From May 01 to May 02, mostly fine weather is anticipated. However, brief thundershower activity may occur at isolated locations, mainly in higher reaches, during late afternoon or evening hours.
During May 03 to 04, a Western Disturbance is likely to affect the region, bringing spells of rain and thundershowers to several parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
Weather observers state that no significant adverse weather system is expected in the immediate period, apart from isolated short-duration activity, before the anticipated Western Disturbance in early May.
Meanwhile, Authorities have advised the public to remain updated with official forecasts and take necessary precautions amid changing weather conditions
