Two Brothers Hit by Vehicle in South Kashmir; One Killed, Another Injured | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: One person was killed and his brother injured in a hit-and-run incident near Police Lines Pulwama in south Kashmir on Sunday evening, officials said.

Reports stated that two brothers were hit by an unidentified vehicle, leaving both injured. They were initially shifted to District Hospital Pulwama and later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment.

However, one of the injured, identified as 28-year-old, Lateef Ahmad Kumar, son of Ghulam Ahmad Kumar, a resident of Amlar Pulwama, succumbed to his injuries and was declared brought dead at the hospital. His brother, 22-year-old, Adil Hussain Kumar, is stated to be stable.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation initiated. (JKNS)
