Eligibility Criteria of IIT Jammu JRF Vacancies

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must have M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Chemistry from a recognized institute or university as a full-time program. Candidates must have at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks in aggregate in Masters.

Candidates must be qualified in any of the following national eligibility tests or equivalent examinations conducted by Central Government Departments or their agencies such as UGC NET including Lectureship or examinations conducted by institutions like DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER and similar institutions.

Age Limit:
The upper age limit is 28 years for the Junior Research Fellow post. Age relaxation up to 5 years is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.

Application Process of IIT Jammu JRF Recruitment 2026
