Udhampur Accident: Action to Follow if Negligence is Found, Says CM Omar Abdullah | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday expressed deep sorrow over the tragic road accident in Udhampur, saying the loss of precious lives is extremely painful.

Speaking to reporters, Chief Minister Omar said, “A tragic accident has occurred in Udhampur in which we have lost many precious lives. I am deeply saddened by this. On my behalf and on behalf of my colleagues, I express condolences and sympathy with the affected families.”

He said that the exact cause of the accident will be ascertained, and any negligence, if found, will be dealt with strictly.

“We will find out how this accident happened and where any lapse occurred. If any action is required from the government, we will certainly take it,” Omar added. (JKNS)
