The camp was conducted by the Indian Army in collaboration with Quality Health Care Hospital Kupwara, in coordination with the district administration at Gundmachar.

Among those present were Managing Director of Quality Health Care Hospital Kupwara Dr Abdul Majeed, IPS officer Vikas Gupta, BMO Sogam Dr Javid Rasool, Apni Party Joint Secretary Abdul Rahim Wani, and other senior officials.

A team of specialist doctors and paramedical staff provided free medical check-ups, medicines, and expert consultations during the camp. Residents from various parts of Lolab Valley, including women, children, and the elderly, turned up in large numbers to avail the services.

Officials said that thousands of people benefited from the initiative, which significantly enhanced access to healthcare in the remote region. Locals appreciated the efforts of the organisers for bringing quality medical services to their doorstep.

In addition to addressing immediate healthcare needs, the camp also focused on promoting preventive healthcare and raising awareness about substance abuse, in line with the objectives of the Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir campaign.
