GMC Kathua Selection List Released for Various Posts

Whereas, Advertisement Notice was notified to invite applications from the eligible candidates for the post Assistant/ Technician, vide Advertisement Notice No. GMCK/E-I1/2025-26/1512-18 dated 09.10.2025 on academic arrangement basis under S.O 364 dated 27.11.2020; and Whereas, deficiencies were found in the application forms of the candidates and one time opportunity was also given to rectify the deficiencies vide this office notice No.: GMCK/E-I1/2025-26/2057-61 dated 12.12.2025; and GMCK/E-I1/2025-26/4048-52

Whereas, the Provisional Shortlist for appearing in the “Written Test” was notified vide notification No.:- dated: 09.01.2026

SKUAST Kashmir Recruitment 2026; Salary : ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100pm/-

Whereas, the Written Test was conducted on 25.01.2026 in respect of posts advertised vide Notice No.: – GMCK/E-II/2025-26/1512-18 dated 09.10.2025; and

Whereas, the Govt. Medical College, Kathua, vide Notice No.:-GMCK/E-II/2025-26/5066-69 Dated 27.01.2026. uploaded provisional Answer Key in respect of Written Test; and

Whereas, the objections were asked to submit if any, 03 representations were received in this office through mail and examined and disposed off; and

Whereas, it was already notified in the advertisement Notice that the Administration of Govt. Medical college Kathua reserves the right to increase or decrease the vacancies or decides not to fill vacancies, at any point of time during process without prior intimation to the applicants and therefore ,the selection list is prepared including 01 vacant post against the Open Merit Category in pursuance to the resignation of 01 incumbent and Now, therefore, in view of the above, the Selection-cum-Waiting-Merit List based on the performance of the candidates appeared in the Written Test for the posts of Technical Assistant/Technician advertised vide Notice No.:-GMCK/E-II/2025-26/1512-18 dated 09.10.2025 to fill the vacancies on academic arrangement basis under S.O. 364, is hereby notified as Annexure-“A, Annexure-C”.

Further, it is clarified that mere figuring in the selection list shall not entitle a candidate for appointment. He/she has to fulfill other eligibility conditions, as laid down and decision of the selection committee of the Govt. Medical College, Kathua in this regard shall be final.

As such, the selected candidates are directed to report for joining to the office of the undersigned within 21 days along with the requisite documents and affidavit (Annexure-B) in original (also 02 sets photostat and selfattested) as mentioned in the original advertisement notice. Failing which the candidature of the candidate shall
deemed to be cancelled without any prior intimation to the candidate and the candidate falling next in the merit will
be called to join.
