The Office of the Director General, Assam Rifles, Shillong has released the official notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for Rifleman/Riflewoman, Havildar, Warrant Officer and various Technical Trade posts under the Compassionate Ground Appointment Scheme. There are 117 vacancies available under this recruitment.

This recruitment is meant only for eligible dependent family members of Assam Rifles personnel who were killed in action, died in service, discharged on medical grounds or missing while in service.
