Assistant Professor dead, husband injured in road accident in Rojouri’s Kallar

Rajouri, Mar 26: An assistant professor was killed and her husband sustained injuries on Thursday after the car they were travelling in crashed into a roadside parapet in the Kallar area of Rajouri district.

The deceased has been identified as Dr Tabassum Naz, an assistant professor posted at Poonch Degree College. Her injured husband, Mohammad Hameed, has been shifted to GMC Rajouri, where he is undergoing treatment.

According to officials, the accident occurred when the car collided with a roadside parapet in Kallar, resulting in one death and one injury.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and are proceeding with the necessary formalities.
