
SRINAGAR: The Chief Engineer, Distribution, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited, has announced scheduled power shutdowns in multiple areas of Budgam district between March 28 and April 6 for maintenance of 33 kV lines.
According to the utility, power supply along the 33 kV Nowbugh–Chadoora line will remain suspended on March 28 from 9 am to 3 pm, affecting Sogam, Ranger, Ropora, Dawlatpora, Panzan, Lalgam, Chadoora, Wathoora, Bugam, Gadsathoo, Kathairgund and adjoining areas.
Similarly, the 33 kV Kremshore line will undergo shutdown on March 30 during the same hours, impacting Kremshore, Arigam, Nuner, Shamsabad, Dreygam, Branwar, Sursyar, Raithan, Khansahib, Shinipora, Yarikhah and nearby localities.
In addition, the 33 kV Kanipora–Pinjoora line will remain shut on March 28, March 31 and April 6 from 9 am to 3 pm, affecting power supply to Arhama town, Pinjoora, Killora, Imamsahib, Vehil, Nowgam, Reshinagri, Pahnoo, Zawoora, Shirmal and adjoining areas.
KPDCL has advised consumers in the affected areas to plan accordingly.
