Unidentified Body Found Near Dal Lake in Srinagar | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: An unidentified dead body was found on a roadside near the Dal Lake area of Srinagar on Wednesday morning, officials said.

Official sources said that the body was lying on the street near Ghat No. 5 when it was noticed by locals, following which the police were informed.

They said that the civil police reached the spot and shifted the body to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.

The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained.

The identity of the deceased was not known at the time of filing this report. Further details are awaited. (KNC)
