Kulgam Police organises T-20 cricket tournament

Kulgam, Mar 24: Kulgam Police on Tuesday organised a T20 cricket tournament under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2025–26 at the Mini Sports Stadium, Kulgam, to promote sportsmanship, discipline and positive engagement among youth.

Twelve teams are participating in the tournament. The inaugural match was played between LCC Kulgam and Chancer CC, drawing enthusiastic response from players and spectators.

Chancer CC won the opening match by six wickets. The initiative reflects Kulgam Police’s commitment to encouraging youth toward constructive activities, strengthening police-public relations, and fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.

Police officials reiterated their resolve to continue organising such community-oriented, youth-centric programmes under the Civic Action Programme.
