Srinagar, Mar 20: Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi on Friday extended greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, expressing hope that the festival brings peace, healing and dignity to every household.
In his message, Inam Un Nabi said Eid is not only a celebration after a month of patience and prayer, but also a moment to reflect on compassion, forgiveness and standing by those who continue to suffer.
He urged the authorities to consider a humane and meaningful gesture by releasing Kashmiri prisoners, saying such a step would serve as a powerful confidence-building measure and restore faith among people. “Eid teaches us empathy and justice. Extending relief to families waiting for their loved ones will be the true spirit of this occasion,” he said.
Sharing the message of jailed Member of Parliament Er Rashid, Inam said that despite his incarceration, his commitment towards the people remains unwavering.
