J&K Admin Announces Jumat-ul-Vida Holiday Tomorrow

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Thursday announced that the holiday on account of Jumat-ul-Vida will now be observed on March 13 instead of the earlier notified date of March 20.

According to Government Order No. 323-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated March 12, issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), the change has been made in partial modification of Government Orders No. 1894-JK(GAD) and 1895-JK(GAD) of 2025 dated December 12, 2025.

The order states that the holiday on account of Jumat-ul-Vida shall now be observed on Friday, March 13, 2026, in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, replacing the earlier scheduled date of March 20, 2026.

The revised holiday will be applicable across the Union Territory.
