Indian Oil Corporation Limited has released an official notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Trade, Technician and Graduate Apprentices. The recruitment is being conducted under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in the Marketing Division of the Western Region.

The apprenticeship training will be provided at different locations in the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and the Union Territories of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. Candidates who meet the required qualification and age criteria can apply through the NAPS or NATS portal.

Eligibility Criteria of IOCL Apprentice Vacancies

Technician Apprentice	3 year full time Diploma in relevant engineering discipline with minimum 50% marks for General, EWS and OBC candidates and 45% marks for SC, ST and PwBD candidates	Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 28.02.2026
Trade Apprentice (ITI)	Matric with regular full time 2 year ITI course in relevant trade recognized by NCVT or SCVT	Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 28.02.2026
Graduate Apprentice	Regular full time graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks for General, EWS and OBC candidates and 45% marks for SC, ST and PwBD candidates	Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 28.02.2026
Trade Apprentice Data Entry Operator	Class 12th pass with minimum 50% marks for General, EWS and OBC candidates and 45% marks for SC, ST and PwBD candidates. Skill certificate holders must possess Domestic Data Entry Operator certificate	Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 28.02.2026

Age relaxation is applicable as per rules. SC and ST candidates get 5 years relaxation, OBC candidates get 3 years relaxation and PwBD candidates get relaxation up to 10 years.

Selection Process

Selection of candidates will be based on the following stages.

Candidates must register on the NAPS or NATS portal and apply for the apprenticeship opportunity.
A merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
Candidates must also complete a pre-engagement medical fitness test before final selection.

There will be no written examination or interview for this recruitment.
