University of Kashmir has released Advertisement Notice No. ENV/CRG/2026 dated 03-03-2026 inviting applications from eligible and motivated candidates for the post of Project Associate-I in the Department of Environmental Science. The position is offered under a research project funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF).

Project Details

The selected candidate will work in the research project titled “A Holistic Assessment of Ecosystem Integrity of Kashmir’s Alpine Lakes through Multi-Level Indicators”.

The project is sanctioned by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) in favour of Dr. Sami Ullah Bhat, Associate Professor, Department of Environmental Science, University of Kashmir Srinagar.

Eligibility Criteria of University of Kashmir Vacancies

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a postgraduate degree in Environmental Science with NET qualification.

Desirable Qualification: Candidates having working experience in the field of aquatic science will be preferred.

Other Requirements: The candidate should be physically fit to conduct field research independently in high-altitude regions of Kashmir involving trekking, camping and boating.
