Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has released the Apprentice Notification 2026 for engagement of 188 apprentices across four regions. The recruitment includes multiple trades such as ITI, Diploma, Graduate, MBA, MSW and BA.

The online application process started on 02 March 2026 and will close on 11 March 2026. Candidates must apply online through the official POWERGRID website. Details regarding vacancies, eligibility, stipend and selection process are given below.

Eligibility Criteria of POWERGRID Apprentices Vacancies

Graduate (Electrical)	B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical Engineering (4 Years)	Minimum 18 Years
Graduate (Civil)	B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg.) in Civil Engineering (4 Years)	Minimum 18 Years
HR Executive	MBA (HR) / PG Diploma in Personnel Management / PM & Industrial Relations	Minimum 18 Years

Other Conditions:

Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Qualification must be full-time regular course.
Passed within 2 years from closing date (12.03.2024 to 11.03.2026).
Should not have more than 1 year job experience.
Must be medically fit as per Apprentice Act 1961.

Not eligible:

Candidates awaiting results.
Candidates below 18 years.
Candidates who have undergone apprenticeship earlier.
Candidates with more than 1 year job experience.

Monthly Stipend

Additional ₹2,500 per month will be paid as HRA if accommodation is not provided.

Shortlisting based on eligibility.
Document verification in 1:5 ratio.
Merit list preparation.
No written examination or interview.
