SRINAGAR: The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) has suspended routine physical classwork for students on March 2 and 3, with all lectures to be held online, the university’s Registrar confirmed.
The announcement comes amid widespread public gatherings across Kashmir on Sunday morning, following confirmation by Iranian state media of the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in a US-Israeli strike.
CUK officials said normal on-campus classes will resume on March 4, urging students to follow online schedules during the suspension period. Authorities continue to monitor traffic and public safety in affected areas.
