Eligibility Criteria of NTPC Engineering Executive Trainees Vacancies

Discipline	Educational Qualification	Age Limit
Electrical	B.E / B.Tech in relevant Electrical disciplines with minimum 65% marks	Upper age limit 27 years
Mechanical	B.E / B.Tech in relevant Mechanical disciplines with minimum 65% marks	Upper age limit 27 years
Electronics / Instrumentation	B.E / B.Tech in relevant Electronics disciplines with minimum 65% marks	Upper age limit 27 years
Computer Science / IT	B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science or IT with minimum 65% marks	Upper age limit 27 years

Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates as per government rules. SC and ST candidates get 5 years relaxation, OBC candidates get 3 years, and PwBD candidates get relaxation up to 15 years depending on category.

Candidates must have appeared in GATE 2025 with the relevant paper code to be eligible.
